This month at the Twofer Card Challenge, our keyword is HOLIDAY GREENERY. Usually, we make two different cards for two different occasions using the same stamp, die or stencil. However this month we have a twist, we can forego “two different occasions” so that those of us who are running behind on our Christmas cards, can get one card ahead. I used the wreath from Concord & 9th’s Joyful Noel dies for both cards.
On the JOY card, the J and Y were die-cut from the same Concord & 9th set as the wreath. The letters are die-cut from red suede from my stash. All the elements are mounted first on a vellum rectangle (Memory Box Stitched Rectangles), then on Amuse Artstamp cardstock. The wreath has been embellished with a small red satin bow and purple rhinestones. In the center of the wreath, on the vellum, a small sub-sentiment is stamped in Versamark Onyx Black. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Tabbed Sentiments Holiday.
The card base on the NOEL card is Memory Box 12×12 cardstock. A small sub-sentiment is stamped in Simon Says Stamp School House red on a white flag. The sub-sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Tabbed Sentiments Holiday. The flag is mounted on the card base, then the wreath (from Concord & 9th’s Joyful Noel dies) and finally the primary Noel sentiment (from Technique Tuesday Say It, Noel). The card is embellished with gold metallic dots (from stash) and wood veneer stars.0
