TIME OUT Challenge #162

TIME OUT Challenge #162

This week at TIME OUT, the theme is FREE.  I immediately thought of the Goldie Hawn movie, Butterflies are Free.  Odd thought…right?  But this 1972 movie was my first R-rated film!  Now that you know my inspiration, let’s look at my card.

The patterned paper on the card base is from Memory Box and trimmed with My Favorite Things Blueprints 15.  I die-cut Simon Says Butterfly Shimmer on the patterned panel, backed the panel with scor-tape, and adhered to the card base.  The large butterflies are Simon Says Stamp Stitching Butterflies.  All the butterflies were die-cut from watercolor scraps from another project. Small butterflies are inlaid, large butterflies are foam mounted.  Lots of Lucy’s Little Things’ jewels adhere to the butterfly path.  The stamped sentiment is from Stampin’ Up.  Thanks for stopping by…
