TIME OUT Challenge #128

TIME OUT Challenge #128

The Home Sweet Home challenge at TIME OUT this week is focused on valentines.  Looking closely at the photo inspiration, I decided to use the wall of envelopes as inspiration.  I created a background of tiny die cut envelopes. On top of the background, I added an acetate envelope (created with an envelope punch) filled with heart sequins.  A white embossed sentiment was the final touch.

Supplies: My Favorite Things Mailbox (letters), Memory Box Sending My Love, Versamark, Hero Arts embossing powder, Stardream, acetate, heart sequins (stash)

Your envelope background is just stunning – the white on white die cuts add the perfect amount of texture while still allowing your see through envelope and hearts to be the star of the show – great design! I love the sentiment on the diagonal strip as well! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill

Wow Elizstewart this blew me away when I saw this-it is stunning, what an amazing background and made with so much creativity-the card is so CAS but made with such superb dimension and texture. And I adore how you used the clear envelope. I love how you use all our challenge themes so well and I love they inspire you. It was a joy coming to see this card. Thank you for joining Time Out
