TIME OUT Challenge #102

TIME OUT Challenge #102

This week at TIME OUT, we have a fabulous graphic photo inspiration.  I focused on the black, vertical striped bench (and covered the background of my card with washi), black and white heart pillow (and used Simon Says Heart in a a Box to recreate), the love poster and gold pillow (adding in a block LOVE in gold and a small red heart).  Very CAS.

Supplies: Simon Says Stamp Heart in a Box, Simon Says Stamp Mini Hearts Set, Lifestyle Crafts Shape n’Tape (black full page washi!), gold Mirracard.

Wow, Elizabeth … this is so striking! Bold, stylish, handsome and rather James Bond! Love the touches of gold and pop of red with those delicious stripes! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita 🙂

Great job with covering the bg with washi, I don’t know if I’d have had enough patience! I love the bold look of this and great use of dies too. Thanks for joining us at Time Out!

I love that photo and your take on it is wonderful. Thanks for reminding me that I too have that SSS die! Appreciate your visit to my blog. A question regarding pic verification… as far as I know I don’t have anything “turned on” to ask for that. I know during the Coffee Lovers hops people who comment on many blogs during one sitting often get hit with the pic verification. Could this have been the case for you? Or do you specifically know that there is something I can personally change on my blog settings?

    • ElizStewart says:

Maria… honestly I don’t know. I have a wordpress blog and we don’t have word verification. Perhaps you are right and I was hit because I had been commenting a lot. Once I start reading blogs and looking at cards… I can’t help myself! So many beauties out in blog land,,,revs me up for a craft room session!

I love nothing more than a CAS design and this is a beauty! That striped background is so perfect for the challenge and love how you created the framed area for the heart. Fabulous card and I’m happy to see you at TIME OUT!
