The Paper Players – PP444 – A Theme Challenge from Ann

This week at The Paper Players, we have a theme challenge recreating SUMMER VACATION.  I am a big believer in staycations.  Lying in a hammock in my backyard, reading a good book, my dog nearby, and the iced tea cold and perspiring…is my idea of the perfect summer day.  I created a simple one-layer card for the challenge.

Supplies: Lockhart Stamps Hammock, Lockhart Stamp Summer Days, Rosie Roadshow cloud stencil, Versafine Clair Nocturne, Hero Arts clear embossing powder, Copics, Distress ink (Tumbled Glass)

Love your card this week Elizabeth – those soft stencilled clouds are the perfect backdrop for your hammock. I think if I lived where you lived I’d staycation all the while too! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

We had a hammock growing up and I loved it. Nothing better than reading or napping outside. You don’t need to leave home since you live in FL for a vacation! So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week with the gorgeous card! XX

What a perfect summer vacation card! I have to agree, sometimes staycations are the best! You just can’t beat relaxing with a good book, a dog or two at your feet. Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
