I am actually combining two color challenges.  I never do that… but The Paper Players and Color Throwdown are using the same colors this week.  Specifically, we are working with dark pink, gray and black at Color Throwdown (neutrals are free). At The Paper Players, we are working with dark pink, light and dark gray (neutrals are free).  I created an inlaid die cut, sympathy card.

Supplies: Papertrey Ink Penned Elegance, Taylored Expressions Quatrefoil Cutting Plate, Papertrey Ink Mega and Layers Mat Stack 4, Versafine Clair Nocturne, Hero Arts embossing powder, My Favorite Things 6×6 In Bloom

Elizabeth the is really effective – the pink really pops through that lovely diecut and the whole thing frames your sentiment beautifully. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

I saw this over on the CTD blog and was quite intrigued…it’s so simple but BEAUTIFUL! Love how the background paper peeks through that die! Thanks for playing with our color challenge this week!!
