The Paper Players – PP414 – A Color Challenge from Jaydee

It is week 2 so we have a Color Challenge over at The Paper Players.  This week, our challenge host, Jaydee, is asking us to create cards using the colors Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow.  Use colors close to those in the photo if you don’t use Stampin’ Up ink.  Neutrals are also allowed as needed.  My card is inspired from last week’s word at CASology: GRATITUDE.  I didn’t have time to make this card for CASology but liked the idea of a grateful heart enough to work it into this week’s colors at The Paper Players.

The “grateful” is die cut from a card panel I randomly sprayed with this week’s colors.  The “heart” is a copic colored Rosie Roadshow character which I foam mounted over the “l” in grateful.  Easy peasy.

Supplies: Papertrey Ink Counting My Blessings, Rosie Roadshow Share the Love, Versamark Clair (black), Hero Arts embossing powder, Copics, Kraft, Crystal Stickles (on the heart), Heidi Swapp sprays

What a wonderful card to express gratitude, Eliz. The sentiment came out great, and I love the girl holding up the heart. So sweet!

Elizabeth I just love the little girl holding up her giant heart – perfect for a grateful theme! I love the way you incorporated all of the colours into your variegated die cut too. A great CAS card!
