We have a Theme Challenge over at The Paper Players!  This week, our challenge host, Joanne, is asking us to create cards using the them “Animal Antics”!  It is 8am here in Florida, the temperature has already hit 90 degrees.  I think I picked an appropriate STAY COOL set from Waffle Flower!  The toughest part of this card was planning the layering and the multiple masks.  The set includes a wonderful wiggly wave line; once you set the wave lines, adding the fun critters is much easier.  The majority of the card is copic-colored but the sun-drenched sky is distressed.

Supplies: Waffle Flower Stay Cool, My Favorite Things Blueprints 13, Versafine Clair, Hero Arts embossing powder, Copics, Distress inks

The Paper Players Design Team. Reach out, get inspired and leave them some love.

The simple rules:

  1. Create a new paper project.
  2. Upload your project to your blog with a link back to The Paper Players.
  3. Provide a direct link to your blog post for your challenge entry.
  4. Please link your card to no more than FOUR challenges (including ours).
  5. HAVE FUN!

Thank you for playing along with the Paper Players! I can’t wait to see your creations… and again HAVE FUN.

So cute, Elizabeth! We’ve entered the stage of FL weather where I wish I could be perpetually in a pool like these fun critters. Fabulous coloring, my friend!

Wow, that is some warm weather, Eliz! Kind of jealous, it’s still unseasonably cool in NY. Super cute card, great job coloring, and your background is fabulous!

Masterful masking and colouring! It feels like summer just looking at this card which is really nice because right now its grey and raining outside my window. Sending a hug to you.
