This is COLOR week over at The Paper Players!  This week, our challenge host, Joanne, is asking us to create a card in “any shade of pink”. I loved the inspiration photo and decided I needed an ombre effect in pink.   I stamped solid balloons randomly in four shades of pigment pink ink from Mama Elephant.  The sentiment is die cut from black Mirracard to really pop!

Supplies: Judikins balloon, Altenew Happy Birthday, Mama Elephant Femme Frames, Mama Elephant pigment ink, black Mirracard

Elizabeth your burst of balloons (is there a collective noun for balloons?!) is gorgeous. I love how you stamped the balloons over each other – it really looks as though they are floating. Fabulous card!

  2. sandym says:

Elizabeth for some reason I struggle with balloons, but you’ve stamped an absolutely perfect background with them! I love the different shades of pink!

  3. Annie A. says:

Wonderful ombre stamping layered perfectly! This is such a fun and happy birthday card. Hope you’re having a great week ~ Hugs, Annie

  4. Jan Clothier says:

I like your ombre bunch of balloons, especially contrasted with the bold sentiment. The scalloped edge is a sweet detail.

  5. Glenda J says:

I absolutely love your background! Looks amazing (plus red is my favourite colour). Thanks for playing along with Seize the Birthday.
