The Paper Players – PP378 – Sketch Challenge

The Paper Players - PP378 - Sketch Challenge

This is sketch week over at The Paper Players!  This week, our CAS Challenge is hosted by the lovely Nance. I struggled this week, I still work hard with color and sketch challenges. I ended up creating 3 cards before I was happy. I am sure some of you know what I am talking about.

The “circle” focus of my card is a snow globe while the sentiment strip is a block “snow” die cut.  CAS but it did take a while to “simplify” the design.

Supplies: Memory Box Grand Snowglobe, Memory Box Sussex Snowflake, Memory Box Leaping Deer, Lawn Fawn Let it Snow, Simon Says Stamp Painted Snow, Stardream, Kraft, acetate

The Paper Players Design Team. Reach out, get inspired and leave them some love.

Elizabeth I feel your pain – I can’t tell you how many of my attempts wind up in the trash. You’d never know it from your card though, you’ve aced the sketch and it looks effortless! Love it!

Fantastic interpretation of the elements in the sketch and I’ll bet the other two “attempts” are just as great. I know what you mean about the struggle…mine are color challenges…they take me forever!! Hope you’re having a great week ~ Annie

We would never know you struggled–the design and the result look effortless. Love the die-cut sentiments for the sketch element and the snow globe is fantastic. Fabulous card, Elizabeth!

I am glad you persevered and came up with this cute snow globe card, Elizabeth!! It’s adorable! You’re on the way to having plenty of Christmas cards for 2018, LOL!

Elizabeth, I love the way the sentiment is the horizontal element of the sketch. It’s a lovely Christmas card – I just can’t bring myself to do another one just yet though, so good on you for starting the stash early.

Well it may have been your third attempt, but it was certainly third time lucky – you’ve nailed the sketch with your fabulous snow globe and oversize sentiment Elizabeth – I love it! What a gorgeous Christmas card with an ultra-modern feel.
