The Paper Players - PP377 - CAS Challenge from Joanne

This is my favorite week over at The Paper Players!  This week, our CAS Challenge is hosted by the wonderful Joanne. Your card should be clean and simple (i.e., lots of “white” space) and reflect the theme Love Notes.

My card is super CAS.  I embossed (rather than die cut) Memory Box’ Floral Fantasy Frame on an A2 pink panel.  In the open space, I gold embossed the sentiment.  I stamped, embossed and fussy cut a pen to accompany my note.   The tip of the pen is dipped in gold Smooches Accents.  I adhered the completed panel to an A2 card base. Done!

Supplies: Memory Box Floral Fantasy Frame, Hero Arts Truly Madly Deeply, Avery Elle Write It, Versafine, Versamark, Hero Arts embossing powder, Smooches gold accents

this is gorgeous. i love the embossed frame and that beautiful sentiment. the ink pen is the perfect finishing touch and well worth the time it must have taken to fussy cut it.

I love your embossed die frame Eliz – it frames your sentiment perfectly and the pen plays to the love note theme beautifully. Another example of CAS perfection this week, go Eliz!

I wondered how you’d made that lovely frame for your words – clever of you to use the die to emboss. Fussy cutting the pen must have been tricky but it looks great with its golden message. Lovely work.
