The Flower Challenge #44 Monochrome

This month at The Flower Challenge, the theme is MONOCHROME.  I never find monochrome cards easy, but I love how mine turned out this time.  I used Poppystamps Falling Dogwood Blossoms cover plate.  I began by painting a watercolor panel in reds, decreasing in intensity.  I was reminded of this technique by Kristina Werner’s class at Spring Card Camp 2 (Faux Dip Dye).  The blossoms were die-cut from the watercolor panel and inlaid in a pink A2 panel.  A small stamped sentiment was added from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words.
