This month at the Flower Challenge we are focused on paper piecing. I used one of my favorite Poppystamps, the Delicate Mum. First, I watercolored a panel in reds, oranges and yellows; splattering a bit of gold on the cardstock as well. I die cut the flower outline from red Stardream. The outlines are layered on top of a bed of die cut leaves/stems and an inset apple green panel. Then I die cut the flowers again from the pre-made watercolor panel, and carefully inserted all the pieces in the red outlines. I embellished with pearl centers, gemstones and a bold white sentiment.
