After missing the deadline for my last Challenge entry, I decided I needed to get this week’s entry in early. I love photo inspirations, this one is no exception. I immediately focused on 1) the wall map, 2) the camera, and 3) the travel clothing.
This card is multi-faceted. The base is metallic gold Stardream. The map is embossed in clear powder over Versafine onyx, then lightly water colored with sparkling H2Os, and edged with gold Delicata ink. The camera is pieced from four card stocks. A solid enamel dot is added for the shutter button and a clear epoxy 1″ dot is added to give the lens depth. The sentiment “enjoy” is die cut, layered 3 times and mounted to the camera. A sub-sentiment is white embossed and mounted directly to the map below the camera. Finally I pulled out an old favorite — Polyshrink. Using the Memory Box small airplanes die, I cut and shrunk the largest plane, then colored with a permanent marker, before adhering.
Thank you for visiting! Elizabeth
