This week at Stamp Ink Paper, we are focusing on VELLUM. Several years ago, Kristin Werner introduced a vellum shaker card technique I loved but never tried (see this blog post). I have tried to recreate the shaker card for this challenge. Coverplate die cut is attached to vellum (edges trimmed); a white sentiment embossed in the center of the vellum panel. The card base is distressed in bright colors. I used one of the new combinations from KWerner: Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral, Seedless Preserves. Add one layer of foam tape to back of the vellum panel. You will need to cut your foam stripes very thin if you use a coverplate like mine. Add a thin layer of sequins, then adhere the card base. Fairly easy… and the effect is very cool!
Supplies: Memory Box Floral Fantasy Frame, Papertrey Ink Penned Elegance (sentiment…one of my favorite sets!), Distress ink, Versamark, Hero Arts white embossing powder, vellum, Simon Says Stamp sequin mix0
