Online Card Classes Sparkle & Shine Day 3: Liquid Applications

Day 3 at Online Card Classes Sparkle & Shine… Liquid Applications.  Again I didn’t have many of the products demonstrated though my interest was piqued. I do have glossy accents and love it!  Kathy Racoosin created the most delectable donuts in Day 3, illustrating the dimension we can get with several layers of glossy accents.  I tried to recreate with my ice cream cones.  I laid down an initial coat of glossy accents, adding “sprinkles” to each cone.  Let dry. Added another layer of glossy accents, let dry.  Repeat one more time.  The look is amazing in real life but not clear in my lousy iPhone photo.

I was planning to make something sweet for The Paper Players…I think this will work!

Supplies: Paper Smooches Ice Cream Cone, Concord & 9th Sweet & Cool, Versafine, Hero Arts embossing powder, Amuse Artstamps gingham cardstock, Kraft, Stardream, Amy’s Magic and Martha Stewart’s glitter, glossy accents

Wow, Elizabeth, the shaker and glitter aspect on these ice cream cones is so fun, but look at those ice cream cones – they are the real deal! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! Crystal, DT

I can see how cool this technique is! Those cones are delightful….especially with their little embossed cups! Definitely sweet treats! Thanks for playing with my Sweet Treat challenge this week!
