*** Note, I forgot to publish this entry to the challenge contest…oops! ***
Our Muse for this week is Kimberly Weiner at Christmasvisions. Her beautiful card has stumped me. I spent most of my crafting time Sunday trying to recreate the amazing background she created…I am baffled. The color blending of her Zigs is wonderful…please look closely. So I retreated to my Kurtake watercolors.
I made two panels. One panel focused on yellow, orange and red blends. The other panel blended purple, blue and blue-green. I knew I would be recreating an inset like Kim, so using the country landscape border die, I die cut the border on each panel. I fit the two panels together and taped in back, covering the windows with gold Stardream. I trimmed the panel to fit an A2 card base. I layered to a copper Stardream panel slightly larger than the watercolor panel, and then adhered to a cream A2 card base.
