Muse Challenge #218

HAPPY 5oth BIRTHDAY, ARDYTH!

Muse Challenge #218Our Muse, Ardyth, has turned 50!  I hope, Ardyth, you had a wonderful birthday and have an amazing year!

Ardyth has challenged us to case her this week as a birthday present.  This case is easier said than done because I love everything Ardyth creates and can’t imagine changing anything.  I spent time looking through all her beautiful birthday creations and decided not to focus on one card but on several of her favorite elements.

I have made Ardyth a birthday card with 1) a bold black sentiment, 2) bold, bright 5-point daisies with black centers.  I took Ardyth’s guidance, stamped the flowers centers and filled with glossy accents to provide dimension.  Adding the “50th” was a last minute decision… but it made me smile.

Happy Birthday!

Supplies: Memory Box Grand Happy Birthday, Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms #3, Avery Elle Time to Party, Versamark, Hero Arts embossing powder, glossy accents

Great card – I love the black & white contrast of the sentiment and the colourful flowers … & how clever of you to take elements from Ardyth’s cards rather than choosing one … it took me a few days to select just one from her blog 🙂

Love this, just as you knew I would! Those are some of my all time favourite flowers, and a rainbow with pops of black always makes me happy! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes and for joining my party at Muse!
