Muse Challenge #162

Muse Challenge #162

imageTracey McNeely is our Muse this week…and she has created 1) a layered, 2) colorful bouquet with 3) a bold script sentiment.  Like Tracey, I got a new floral set from MFT this week.  I was excited to have a chance to break them in with Tracey’s inspiration and guidance!  I stamped all the major flowers in bright ink colors from My Favorite Things, then fussy cut them.  I stamped the leaves and sprigs directly on an A2 card, then layered and adhered the flower elements.  My love of embellishments persists.  I had to add a bit of gold Smooches to the blue flower centers, an enamel dot to the daisy, and gems to the mum…for pizzazz.  Finally an appropriate sentiment was stamped.

Supplies: My Favorite Things Fall Florals, Concord & 9th By Your Side, My Favorite Things ink, gemstones, acrylic dots, gold Smooches, Versafine

Your post starts out similar to mine, Elizabeth. I got that same MFT floral set and made my card. I love how yours turned out and it’s totally different from mine.

  2. Tracey McNeely says:

Elizabeth what a beautiful card, I love your new MFT flowers are the colours you chose to stamp them in.The Concord & 9th was the other sentiment I was choosing between when I made my card! Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!
