Snow globes are the theme this week at Merry Monday. I love snow globes because they usually mean shaker cards! And I love shaker cards!
I began by creating the card layers. I stamped and silver embossed the MB peace background. I strategically cut out a 2.25″ circle above the word peace. Next layer is light blue Stardream, adhered, and the circle cut. The third layer is a patterned metallic card stock, again adhered, and the circle cut.
I cut a piece of silver Stardream for the back piece of the shaker. I layered the back piece with a pine border cut out and a stitched snow border. I stamped a polar bear on woodgrain paper, colored with Copics, fussy cut and mounted on the back piece. I adied acetate to the back of the circle panel, and lined the circle with two layers of foam tape. I filled the circle with white sequins and added the back piece. I mounted the circle panel to a royal blue Stardream A2 card base. I added a silver Stardream base to the globe. The final touch was several white sequins.
