Memory Box Challenge #14 – Sketch Challenge

Memory Box Challenge #14 - Sketch Challenge

imageimageFor the July Memory Box challenge, we are working with a sketch. I selected a beautiful patterned paper to work with as the foundation for my A2 card.  I die cut the leafy wreath wreath from it and from a dark green patterned paper. I inlaid the wreath, taping in back, and adhered the patterned paper to the card base. I die cut a second wreath from a lighter green patterned paper and adhered askew on top of the first wreath. I penciled off the “box” elements of the sketch and added glitter tape to mark. I die cut the bird 3x, twice from red patterned paper, once from Stardream.  I assembled the bird, cutting the last layer into the shape of a wing, and foam mounted on the wreath. I die cut a series of small florals and adhered around the wreath. I stamped the sentiment in the lower right.  The final touch was several small sequins.

Supplies: Memory Box Perched Reed Bird, Poppystamps Breezy Wreath, Memory Box Floral Delights, Printworks sentiment, gold Smooches accents, glitter tape, Versafine, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, 6×6 Memory Box paper
