This week at Jingle Belles, we are making SHAPED Christmas cards. At first, I tried to hand drawn a large stocking…wow, that didn’t work! At last, I decided to work from the largest Spellbinders star. I die cut the star 4x: once in Stardream (front to be die cut and decorated), once in Neenah 110 lb white (inside), twice in kraft. I adhered the kraft stars to the backs of the front and inside stars. I scored the tip of the inside/kraft star to create a card hinge. The inside/kraft star was attached to the front/kraft star with scortape. Note the front star was die cut with a mosaic star prior to being backed with kraft. The mosaic star was inlaid with bits of Stardream (metallic cardstock), Mirracard (glossy cardstock) and glitter paper. A white embossed sentiment was the last touch.
Supplies: Spellbinders Stars, Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas, Simon Says Stamp Mosaic Star, Versamark, Hero Arts embossing powder, Stardream, silver glitter paper, gold Mirracard
