I struggled beyond words with this week’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches!  The sketch has three lines along the diagonal and a rectangular focal image on the left. This card is my fifth attempt at making “something” work on the diagonal.  I know if I looked at all the great entries, I would have been inspired but I like to think these sketches through myself.  I like the end result with Pure Innocence.  The diagonal?  I inlaid three rows of hearts, each row in a different color!

Supplies: Memory Box Heart Delights, My Favorite Things Big Hugs, Versafine Clair Nocturne, Hero Arts clear embossing powder, Copics.

I love what you did with the sketch! Believe it or not, it took me about five times as well! Great job and adorable card! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

You’re not the only one who struggled with this sketch, Liz, but the end result is just gorgeous! The heart border is so clever and your Pure Innocence girl is adorable. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches (and for persevering!)
