Freshly Made Sketches #281 - A Sketch by Kim

So the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week allowed me to try some new product and work on my NBUS pile (Never-Before-Used Schtuff…see Darnell’s blog!).  First, I love the new decorative border dies from Poppystamps.  These dies cut and emboss at the same time… and are lots of fun.  I layered the effect for the card sketch today.  Second, the Pansy and Daisy Wreath by Rubber Stamp Tapestry is a kinda kit… it comes with 9 rubber stamp dowels and instructions for creating a wreath.  I had never opened it.  For today’s card, I created an ornament from the wreath design but I think you could do lots of things with the combination of small stamps.  It is a keeper! Shame on me for never opening.

Supplies: Rubber Stamp Tapestry Pansy and Daisy Wreath, Mama Elephant In My Heart, Avery Elle Circle Tag, Poppystamps Tailored Stitches, Stardream, May Arts ribbon, Versafine, Hero Arts embossing powder
