I combined the colors from Color Throwdown this week (pink, peach, berry red and green) with The Flower Challenge where anything goes this week.  I used Concord & 9th’s Happy Day flower cake to create a birthday card for a dear friend.  The images are embossed and colored with Zig Clean Color markers.

Supplies: Concord & 9th Happy Day, Papertrey Ink Penned Elegance, Versafine Clair, Hero Arts embossing powder, Zig Clean Color markers, Pretty Pink Posh sequins

Talk about CAS perfection!! This is absolutely stunning, your colouring skills always blow me away. The soft colours are beautiful and I’m always too scared to stamp sentiments over coloured images but this is done perfectly. I just love it and so glad to see you at The Flower Challenge!!

  2. Jan Clothier says:

WOW! I just love the positioning of the image on the card and the clean look of it. However, the superstar of it is your gorgeous subtle colouring: this cake is not only dreamy and romantic and gorgeous, it looks good enough to eat! Fabulous card, Elizabeth.
