CASology Week 341: TURQUOISE

CASology Week 341: TURQUOISE

I am thrilled to be a guest designer this week at CASology…one of my absolute favorite challenges! The keyword, this week, is TURQUOISE.  If it wasn’t apparently immediately, my card represents Tiffany’s Blue Box.

  • Fun Fact #1: The color Tiffany Blue® was first introduced in 1845.  The color is also referred to as robin’s egg or forget-me-not blue.  Apparently chosen by Charles Tiffany because of the popularity of the 19th century turquoise jewelry. Turquoise brooches were a popular bridesmaid gift among Victorian brides.
  • Fun Fact #2: The Tiffany Blue Box® is not only iconic, but it is also green. The box is made wholly from sustainable and or recycled materials.

My blue box is made using a Bazzill turquoise cardstock and a Lifestyle Crafts present die. I stamped a small diamond peeking out of the box and a sentiment hoping you, too, will get a surprise in a Tiffany Blue box!  Enjoy.

Please be sure to stop by each of the design team members’ sites and appreciate their wonderful inspiration pieces.  And… have fun creating something TURQUOISE!  I am so looking forward to seeing your creations.

Supplies: Lifestyle Crafts Present, W+9 Sparkle and Shine, Rosie Roadshow sentiment, Versafine Clair Nocturne
