CASology Week 334: FUNKY

CASology Week 334: FUNKY

The keyword this week at CASology is FUNKY.  This word was hard.  I looked at the current definitions of FUNKY:  1) (of music) having or using a strong dance rhythm, in particular that of funk; 2) strongly musty.  However, I grew up in the late 60s/early 70s.  At that time, and for me still, FUNKY means something “cool”,  something “out there”,  something pertaining to the time period I grew up in, e.g., psychedelic.  So I created a simple peace card with the colors of the 60s and the sentiment.

Supplies: My Favorite Things Peace Sign, Simon Says Stamp Good Vibes, Versafine Clair Nocturne

I think this is a brilliant interpretation of the cue word, Elizabeth! Love the colours and that adorable little peace sign. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

This is such a pretty, happy and colorful card. And, I totally get the funky vibe, too. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
