Do you remember Polyshrink?  I am using Polyshrink on my super CAS card this week at CAS(E) this Sketch. For my focal point, I followed Dave Brethauer’s example with shrink plastic on a recent YouTube video (link below).  I stamped a MFT background on prepared polyshrink and colored the design with colored pencils.  I die cut a heart from the colored plastic.  Remember the plastic will shrink by 50% so make sure your image is large enough. Shrinkage is a wonderful feature of polyshrink… shrinkage hides all coloring mistakes or imperfections!  Before mounting, I covered the heart in a thick layer of Glossy Accents (for shine). I attached the heart to the card base with a small slit behind the heart to hide a pin attachment.  How wonderful is it when our embellishments are also a gift!

Supplies: My Favorite Things Abstract Background, Hero Arts Acts of Kindness, Spellbinders Hearts, white Polyshrink, StazOn Jet Black Ink (a permanent ink that “sticks” the plastic), Prisma colored pencils, Glossy Accents, Versafine Onyx, Hero Arts clear embossing powder

I’ve loved seeing your cards today, Elizabeth… especially your wonderful addition to our CTS gallery!
Remember it? Yes, but in Shrinky-Dink form!
Where do you buy this, pray tell?
