CAS on Sunday has challenged us to work with sequins this week. Of course, I immediately thought shaker card. With the kids out playing softball everyday, I decided to make a quick card of encouragement. I stamped, clear-embossed, copic-colored and fussy cut one of the raccoons from the new Mama Elephant set. From a small scrap of green cardstock, I die cut a mound, behind which I adhered the raccoon. Using the large wonky frame from Avery Elle, I die cut a white panel. In the center of the panel, I die cut a circle. From behind, in the circle, I adhered the raccoon mound, and a piece of acetate. I die cut the sentiment 3x, layered, and adhered to the acetate. On the circle, die cut from the white panel, I stenciled distressed clouds. Lining up the cloud circle and the white panel, I adhered the cloud circle to an A2 card base. I added two rows of foam tape to the outer edges of the cloud circle, dusted the circle with anti-static powder, and filled with sequins. The final step was to add the white panel and shake!
