CAS Christmas May 2020 Challenge

CAS Christmas May 2020 Challenge

The month at CAS Christmas, the challenge is being hosted by Loll and the theme is WINTER BERRIES.  I used a new die from my quarantine haul, Pinkfresh Botanical Branch.  This is a very tricky die-cut to work with… lots of wobbly limbs.  I die-cut and Copic-colored.  I laid the die-cut on cellophane packaging and covered the berries in Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents (for dimension).  I carefully glued the die-cut to the card base using the die outline for guidance.  The small stamped sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Holiday Tiny Words.  Thanks for stopping by!

I am also submitting this card to NBUS Challenge ~ 14; the Pinkfresh Botanical Branch die has been sitting in my Never-Before-Used-Schtuff basket!

CAS perfection! Love the die cut and the way it’s set into the rectangle. Wonderful use of the glossy accents. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Christmas.

  2. Loll says:

Gorgeous Winter Berry card Eliz! I love the die-cut you’ve used with the built in framing The colours of the leaves is so dramatic against the red berries. This is what I would call CAS Perfection! Great work! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!

  3. Darnell Jean Knauss says:

This is gorgeous, Elizabeth! I love that berry branch and how you colored and glossified it! And it’s cool how you nestled it inside the cut-out rounded corner rectangle! Thank you so much for sharing at NBUS! Take care and keep being safe! Hugs, Darnell
