Back to Basics and Beyond Challenge #28 Shrink Plastic

This week at Back to Basics, we are working with SHRINK PLASTIC. I love to work with shrink plastic!  I made a New Home card using a shrink plastic moving box.  I prepared a piece of shrink plastic by rubbing the plastic with a mild sandpaper.  Then I stamped the moving box on scrap paper and photocopied, doubling the size of the image.  Shrink plastic tends to shrink images by 50%. I transferred the image to shrink plastic by tracing the image with a Sharpie pen.  I lightly rubbed brown pastel chalk dust on the shrink plastic.  After shrinking, I covered the final image with glossy accents.  The shrink plastic moving box is foam mounted atop a map.

Supplies: Stampendous Open Box, Claudia Rose happy New Home, My Favorite Things Instaframe, map (stash), shrink plastic, Sharpie, pastel chalks, glossy accents, Versafine Clair Nocturne
