Addicted to CAS Challenge #173 – Blessed

I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer this week at Addicted to CAS!  The keyword we are working with is BLESSED.  Not sure about you but I can always use a few thanksgiving cards in my stash.

The central sentiment is from an old Papertrey Ink set (Count Your Blessings); die-cut from a “sprayed” cardstock.  I love using Heidi Swapp, Distress and other sprays to create backgrounds.  This background is a combination of yellow, orange, a bit of red and gold sprays.

The sub-sentiment is part of a longer sentiment from My Favorite Things For Owl You Do.  I masked the words I didn’t plan to use and stamped on the base card in Momento Tuxedo Black.  The flowers are from Concord & 9th Wildflower, stamped in Versamark and gold embossed.  Blessed was die-cut 3x, layered and mounted over the flowers.  The final touch was a few gold beads from my stash for the center of the flower and edges.

Please be sure to stop by and visit with each of the Design Team members.  Get inspired!  Leave some love.  I can’t wait to see your BLESSED creations.

This is gorgeous, Elizabeth. Your gold embossed flowers are wonderfully placed. The sprayed sie cut looks wonderful placed over the flowers and the little embellishments are perfect. Thanks so much for joining us as Guest Designer for out BLESSED challenge.
