Addicted to CAS Challenge #162

I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer this week at Addicted to CAS!  The keyword we are working with is WEDDING.  Not sure about you but I can always use a few wedding cards in my stash.

I have made a simple one-layer card.  The butterfly heart is by Memory Box.  I “fluffed” up the wings and adhered a sheet of gold foil behind the image for added shine.  I die cut two additional butterflies from gold Stardream, adhered to the collage, and added small rhinestones for emphasis.

The sentiment is old, old, old.  I need to retire it… the rubber is actually cut in a couple places.  I love it though, and have gold-embossed to finish the card.

Please be sure to stop by and visit with each of the Design Team members.  Get inspired!  Leave some love.  I can’t wait to see your WEDDING creations.

Supplies:  Memory Box Butterfly Heart, sentiment unknown, Versamark, Hero Arts gold embossing powder, Stardream metallic gold cardstock, My Favorite Things gold foil cardstock, rhinestones (stash)

This is a gorgeous card, Elizabeth. Love the gold and white – always fitting for this occasion. I love the way the butterflies came to life with your fluffing, and the touch of the 2 gold butterflies with the tiny gems is just perfect. It is a joy to have you with us as Guest Designer at ATCAS!

    Hi there Elizabeth!
This is such a stunning one layer wedding card! I love how you fluffed up the wings and added a few gold butterflies to your design!
Thank you again for being our Guest Designer for this challenge!
