Addicted to CAS Challenge #135 - Gold

The keyword this week at Addicted to CAS Challenge is GOLD.  There is a lot we can do with gold!  This being May, I feel like every card should feature flowers.  A couple weeks ago, I made a very gold card for Freshly Made Sketches; a mother’s day card for mom!  Usually when I watercolor I make multiples, just in case, you never know how watercolors will dry.  The gold embossed, watercolored flowers left from my last project seemed like a great start for this card.

On my white card base, I sprayed Heidi Swapp gold ink for some shimmer and shine.  A gold paper foil frame was added from Amy’s Magic (an old company; I am not sure if they are still in business).  The sentiment is layered; the top being gold Mirracard.  I foam mounted the flowers and as a final touch added a number of gold sequins.  Hope you like the result.

Supplies: Simon Says Stamp Hey Love, Altenew Wild Hibiscus, Versamark, Hero Arts embossing powder, Kurtake watercolors, Heidi Swapp distress spray, Amy’s Magic gold foil frames, gold Mirracard, Pretty Pink Posh sequins
